Common Courtesy

What is it? What happened to it?
It used to be an expected act that everyone performed. Example:  Someone sends you a text message or email that requires a response, perhaps they need your response to fulfill a job or task, maybe they are planning an important event for you, now granted we don't all have the answers at any given time, but if you can open the text or email, "Common Courtesy" denotes that you give some type of reply, even if it's "let me get back with you" it shows respect! Not replying or acknowledging the receipt of either says that you don't respect that person and that your time is more valuable than theirs.
